Hello, and welcome to VERY LOST.
I’m
, and in March 2023 — after a layoff from Amazon — I decided to start traveling the world. I didn’t have a plan or know where I wanted to go, I just felt VERY LOST. Today, I’m still traveling, and during my sabbatical I’ve traveled to 4 continents, 20+ countries (for a lifetime total of 50+ countries), and 100+ cities.I write about the places that shape my understanding of how we work, learn, and interact. Sometimes, I’ll share more about the destinations that truly amazed me.
I hope my writing gives you a place to get lost and wander, too.

I share about two thoughtful essays per month about places, cultures, or travel. Some of my favorites have been:
